Kmart Wishing Tree

The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal is the nation’s largest Christmas gift appeal and an annual tradition for many Australian families.

Thanks to the public’s generosity, the Appeal has collected more than 4.5 million gifts for people in need over the past 21 years.

This year, the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal aims to raise more than 400,000 gifts.

Gift donations are placed under Wishing Trees located in Kmart stores, in readiness for distribution to people in need via the Appeal’s charity partners.

The 2009 Kmart Wishing Tree will run from 12 November to 24 December.
